Can't seem to find Cloud Peaks for Rasaad

The area doesn't appear on the map. At first, I had read through the discussions thinking it was one of the pre-existing areas, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I did start this game before the last patch — should I try starting a new game? Thanks in advance.

i think you enter there from the south part of nashkell mines map, not 100% sure.
else its one of the map parts next to that

Yeah... I tried that after reading the forum, but the area doesn't pop up... I'll try a few more combos just to see if I missed one. Thanks!

You have to do the first part of his quest before it appears on the map. (it starts in the city of Baldur's Gate) When the quest has proceeded far enough, you get the map marker there. (and you reach it by traveling south from the Nashkel Mines...)

Thanks! I did get the quest in Baldur's Gate with the information... Maybe I missed something.

Where do you get this quest ? I'd like to visit this new area without loosing to much time finding it .

It should trigger when you travel to the Baldur's Gate South Section with Rasaad in your party (it was also night when it happened to me, I don't know if that plays a role).

I don't know how far along you are in the quest, but the area should be unlocked after tracking down the Dark Moon snitch and killing the dark moon cult inside the house. There the only non Dark Moon member will drop a document that you have to pick up, shortly after Rasaad begins a conversation with you and the conversation unlocks the stage of the quest that takes place in the Cloud Peaks.

As a suggestion...if the cheats are operational (haven't tried), you can find the Area code for the Cloud Peaks region and teleport directly to that area using an area teleport cheat.

    Thanks all!

@Sceptenar I'd done everything (I believe the letter indicates location) but I didn't get the dialog. It may have been a problem with the patch, or just a little bug. I've restarted another game with the hope that it will solve it! (I really hope I didn't just forget the freakin' document).

And I'll look at the cheats, too. Thanks @Silence.

Note that there are two people with letters on them in there, you have to get the right one (or both, I'm not sure which).

Did you do the followup stuff in Baldur's Gate?

Spoiler (don't know how to do the tags):

You have to talk to a guy in an inn (both named in the note), then clear the building he leads you to and find another note there. Then it will appear in the far southeast corner of the map.

You can also just kill that guy in the Inn and he barks out the Cloud Peaks location before he croaks. This bypasses you needing to even clear out that building; you can just go straight to the Cloud Peaks.

In case you needed it, the area code for the Cloud Peaks is OH3000.

That'd be a good band name.
