[possible bug][Thief] can a thief wear a Helm?

im pretty sure that a thief in BG2 can wear a helm, why he cant wear them in BG:EE? is this a bug?

Edit: or maybe its in my memories because a thief can learn in BG2 the skill to use every kind of item?

    Yup you're thinking of a thief with Use Any Item. A normal thief can't wear helmets.

    Yeah, you might be confused with use any item or the fighter/thief variant. Pure thieves cannot wear helmets.

    Yup...there are a handful of helms wearable by single class, non-UAI thieves (Strohm III's mask, the thieves hood as well as Ioun stones that aren't class restricted) but i don't think any were added in BG:EE.
