Thief Detect illusion range?

What's the effective range on the skill? I rolled a thief using a short bow who will not be on the front lines much and was wondering if detect illusion ability will reach that far effectively?

    No, the range is quite small. Maybe a half that of darts maximum firing range roughly.

    I don't want to hijack the thread, but what exacltly does the detect illusion skill do? The description seems kind of vague? Does he have a chance to dispel enemy invisibility and things like that?

    AFAK it dispels all illusion spells. Including invisibility, mirror image..etc. It is very usefull against enemy mages.

    yep, but the range is small. I'm not exactly sure, but could be 15 ft radius. it's no inquisitor's true seeing

    Well maybe he'll be backstabbing instead of ranged then. :). Thanks!
