Black Pits, missing save files

When you save a game while playing the new adventure, the save file (at least in multiplayer) seems to end up in the regular baldurs gate save files. So when you want to load, and they aren't there, you can instead make a baldur's gate "load" and find the file there, but while we managed that, the game still crashed for trying to play with 3 players so didn't bother anymore than that.

I'm guessing there's some missing redirect or something that point the save files in the right direction. I'm sure you can fix that.

Anyone else having trouble getting saves (besides the autosave) to show? I've made numerous regular saves (and I see them in the mpsave directory) but they do not show when creating a new Multiplayer game and click on the Load Game. My Single player saves show up instead. So I have stopped my single player advancement to avoid accidentally over writing the only multiplayer save that shows up.

I'm unable to load from save games while playing a multiplayer game of the Black Pit. I can quick save and load from the quick save, but no other non-quick save games appear on the load list. I'm saving the game and the save files show up in the "mpsave" folder, but they don't appear in the "bpsave" folder. If I move the save files from the mpsave folder to the bpsave folder I can then load the games in a multiplayer Black Pits game. However, saving to that same slot doesn't seem to accomplish anything and I cannot load from the slot again.

Edited to add: this is on the latest patch Build 2009

Seems to be an issue with The Black Pits and multi-player saves.
Not sure if it's been reported but saving multi-player TBP game saves to a directory which you can't load for multi-player games.
Games save to MP Save, and it only read BP Save folder to load.

Having the same issues, seem to be saving to the wrong folder.

Hi, I thought I'd let you guys know of a couple bugs I found when playing Black Pits in multiplayer with a friend of mine, just in case you hadn't seen these yet -

-If you die, the game will terminate the connection, and you won't be able to load any saves, though starting a new game works. Restarting the game fixes this.
-Saves from the Black Pits in multiplayer are saved to the My Documents/Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition/mpsave directory, but are read from the /bpsave directory, so you have to copy your saves to the other location in order to get the game to recognize them.
-The Genie Dude who's name I don't remember sometimes stands in the middle of the arena and asks you if you want to rest, which allows you to rest in the middle of a fight! This seems to be related to reloading a save.

Liking the game so far, but addressing this stuff would be great!

You can try to hack this around by moving the saved games to the directory it wants to load from.
All of you (in the mp session) need to do the same before start.

    Otherwise the bug is registered.

We had thought about doing so but the effort of doing that every new save we decided to just wait for a patch and play normal BG in the mean time.

I will give a simple explanation in this format:
"Describe current behavior. Describe expected behavior"

I click to save my mutliplayer game in The Black pits. It says the save was successful. I click load, my savegame does not appear. The expected behavior is the savegame I just made would appear. Also with imports and exports of characters.

The current behavior is that characters exported and then reimported into a new black pits multiplayer would have none of their items.
The expected behavior was that the characters would keep their items when exported and then reimported into a new multiplater black pits game.

On further investigation I found that the savegames are there on my computer, in a folder called mpsave, but do not appear in game. My guess is that the folder location the load function is pointing to is instead bpsave. located in the same parent directory.

I have also found that I am not the only person with this issue. Here is a link to another person's similar post that was not in the bug section.
