Laggy gameplay. Youtube Video inside

Gameplay before this animation was working.

Afterwards the framerate dropped to almost 0 per second. The animations were frozen still on the screen.

This was during a multiplayer session.

I have two gigs of ram and 2.0 ghz proc in my laptop.

It seems like the spell animation brought my computer to a standstill. Really beamdogged the frame rate.

Any ideas for a fix?

    Is it only occurring during multiplayer, or is it affecting single player also?
    According to the posts from the developers, they're still working on some multiplayer issues, even after the latest patch which should have taken care of a select few...
