Black Pits - max level?

In the Black Pits, the thief in my party reached level 10, and although there is an experience bar of "220000" to next level, she hasn't gained any experience since she has hit10. In the meantime, all of my other party members have continued to gain experience and levels. Just wondering if this is something intentional or not. It seems odd because my druid has already surpassed level 10, so I'm not sure why this is only happening with the thief.

by default most of the classes can only level up to 10
except druid who can go up to 11
