Missing something with Dorn?

So I'm about 20 game days into my first BGEE run, and I've picked up Dorn and Neera early on. Neera is chatty, and I've recieved and completed the Adoy quest with her. However, Dorn hasn't said a word since I recruited him, and attempting to initiate dialogue just gives me the "has nothing to say to you" line.

I'm trying not to spoil the new content for myself, so I've avoided reading up on Dorn's quest. Is it supposed to start later in the game, or is something amiss here? I just offed Tranzig, haven't started hunting bandits yet.

    After a while he should aks you to speak to a certain person. If it takes too long for him to ask, you should try speaking to that person nevertheless. I would tell you who, but I don't know how to post spoiler tags.

    The woman you wanna talk to is Taris, in northern Nashkel by the inn and shop.

    Ah, thanks! I'll go talk to her. Hopefully that'll get the ball rolling.
