I never read the journal in the original. Was it always this buggy? More than half of my finished quests are listed under 'quests' as if still open... Was that always the case?

    Yeah. The journal needs some fixing. Which is a bit annoying considering there's no way I'm convinced this slipped unnoticed by the QA team.

    In any case, the quests themselves, to my knowledge, aren't bugged. You get your rewards on completion. It's just the journal.

    I like the player input option but so far have not actually used it - perhaps becuase I already know about all the quest options from Vanilla BG

    Yeah the journal is not very important to me, but its a mess and its annoying ^^

    And how you also cant scroll in it but have to grab-and-drag instead... And then another input method when examining something, or browsing a shop. Theres no consistency!

    These are the things an EE ought to improve on imo.

    This is good to know! I guess I can continue playing without worrying about my game messing up.

    The journal is fubar in its current form, hopefully they'll get a fix out soon. It's such a pain for completionists like me.

    Yeah the quests are find, just the logging that is faulty.

    Just noticed that you can actually grab-and-drag in both the shop and examining screen aswell. So yeah, but the scroll wheel function is still messed up.

    They need to allow you to use the scroll feature in the journal. Mine might just be bugged, but i can't scroll through the journal. Instead, I have to power click the down arrow about a hundred times if I want to get from the top to the bottom

    The new patch fixed the annoying font shadow in journal and item inspection screens atleast. Yay :)
