Few questions from a returning player if anyone can spare some time

Hi guys, loving being back on BG and these forums are great and so I was wondering if anyone could help me with a few things regarding BG.

First of all are their any mods I should really consider getting for BG:EE?

I am quite deep into BG again, all characters in my party lvl 7-8, so I am at the stage where I want to make my characters super powerful. I am gearing up but have noticed that I can only equip one magic piece of equipment per character. Is there any way to change this or will I just have to be satisfied with only 1 magic piece of gear per character.

Lastly does anyone know if I will be able to continue my main character onto BG2:EE when its released?

    1. Depends on your preference. Bgtutu and widescreen mods were the "must-haves" from before but neither is needed anymore.

    2. Do you mean enchanted protection? Yeah, that is still there, so for example, if you have a plate +1 equipped, you cant equip a rind of protection as well.

    Unless you are trying to use rings/amulets of protection along with armour that has an enchanted bonus (for instance studded leather +1) there should be no reason why you can't at least wear magically enchanted armor and weapons. Even if your entire party was made up of wizard slayers you should at least be able to have enchanted weapons and armour.
