Single Weapon Style displays 1 extra HP of damage in the Character Record Screen & Equipment Screen.

However, in-game damage is calculated correctly.

+1 to damage when using a 1h weapon with single weapon style. I don't see this being mentioned anywhere, is this a bug?

After testing on a lvl 1 fighter with 1 point in dagger and Single Weapon Style and 10 str:

The damage range is displayed as 2-5.
Attacking npc's I managed to see a range of 1-7.

Anyone got any idea what is going on here?

Current behavior: See a damage range of 2-5 on character sheet and 1-7 attacking people.
Expected: 1-4 damage range in both cases.

I think NPCs that are unarmed take extra damage.

Does that mean the displayed 2-5 damage is correct? With the +1 being from single weapon style.

Edit: Actually that doesn't make any sense either, how could I see a damage roll of 1 if the character sheet is correct?

On pip in single weapon style gives +1 damage in game (or at least that's what the character sheet says), instead of just increased crit chance and -1 AC

Expected Behaviour: Single Weapon Style should not add +1 damage, only increased crit chance (19-20) and -1 AC in first point, and another -1 AC on second point

BTW I've confirmed this by putting a weapon in the off-hand (to cancel the single weapon style) and the damage from the main hand is reduced by one after doing this.

    I can't reproduce this bug.

I've created a Fighter with one pip in short sword and one pip in single-weapon style, and a STR score of 10. Equipping a short sword correctly results in a damage of 1d6, no bonuses.

I tried it with a Skald. With a pip in axes and a pip in single-weapon style and 16 strength.

With just the axe in the main hand (and no Skald Song up), I get 4-11 damage reported, when I put another weapon in the off-hand (to cancel the single-weapon style) this changes to 3-10

A Skald has an innate +1 damage and 16 Strength gives another +1, so with a Battle Axe I should only be seeing 3-10 damage

I can also see this when I change a throwing axe from throwing mode to melee mode, the damage changes from 4-9 to 5-10 (and throwing axes get the strength damage bonus, so the change in damage seems to be coming from single-weapon style being activated in melee mode).

I tried rolling another Skald with 10 strength and 1 point in axes and 1 point in single weapon style, with a battle axe in one hand it's reporting 3-10 damage, when I remove single weapon style the damage decreases to 2-9

Is it just affecting Bards or other classes too?

So is it just a description bug, rather than a game-effect bug currently?

If this is just a problem with the info screens than I think I've got it.
