Can't play!!! How to re-install louncher???

Hey.
Maybe because of the patch: The louncher does NOTHING, when I want to start the game. Only the Frame of the window pops up, but you can see though it...
Any idea?

Using winXP 32-bit and the stand-alone-loncher. Had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM with the game before...

    Maybe try starting the game directly from Baldur.exe? It's in Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition>Data>00766.

    Hmm... have you tried running the launcher as an administrator? Right click the launcher icon>Properties>Compatibility tab>"Run this program as an administrator" checkbox near the bottom.

    I'm using winXP as admin.

    now downloaded the stand-alone-launcher again from beamdog, installed it in the same folder an still have the same problem...

    Well we seem to have exceeded the range of my, admittedly small, technical know-how. Maybe someone else will come along and be able to help you. Or you could try searching the forums, as I think I remember seeing this issue crop up before. The search function on these forums isn't the greatest though, so if you don't find anything with it try googling: "site:forum.baldursgate.com [whatever you want to search for]", if you want to limit your results to pages on this site.
