For multiclass, you only gain a fraction of the HP bonus from high constitution. So for a triple class character each class gains a third of the total bonus, rounded down. Except for the last class to level up, which gains however many bonus HPs are left. So you'll gain +1HP from constitution in the first 2 classes to level up, and +2 from the last.

not quite...each class is affected by the Con-table and it is rounded down.
Fighter level up: d10+4(con-bonus) / 3 (3 multi-class) = 2-5 HP on lvl up (or use BG-tweaks to get always max HP)
    mage: d4+2(con-bonus for non-fighter class) / 3 = 1-2 HP
    Thief: d6+2 / 3 = 1-3 HP

If you're having HP problems then make sure your difficulty is turned to "Normal" (Middle left in game settings) on level up. This ensures that you'll get maximum HP on levelling, and can then adjust difficulty back to whatever you want.

yeah but it's annoying to switch henceforth for every level up. The independent 'fix' from the tweak-package works pretty well.
