Nymph's cloak - BGT

So I recently got the nymph's cloak in the city of Baldur's Gate, and I went to sell it in the Sorceress Sundries (after it was made from the hair). Anyways, I was an evil character (reputation 5 with 17 charisma) and I was able to sell it for 89,000). Anyways, does anyone aware if this is just a fantastic glitch, or is it just normal? (I'm playing trilogy).

    thats a fantastic glitch, it should only sell for 500 gold if im not mistaken ( or maybe even less since he offers you 500, i think you only get maybe 300 or so for it)

    Such things happen when an item has more active charges then it's maximum allowance.
