Can i still switch an npc's portrait using shadowkeeper?

Hey people,

Essentially i was using Edwin's picture for my main char and when i picked him up, he had a TERRIBLE out of context picture by default. I tried doing the old shadowkeeper fix for this but it doesn't seem to be working... All i need is to switch his portrait back to his orginal...

Any ideas/ tips etc?

To clarify when i select change portrait the selection is blank minus a small picture of body and the elf woman. I assume the EE has changed some file paths etc?

I'm pretty sure you can't Shadowkeepr portraits, because the utility was programmed to only read portraits that are exactly 38x60 and 110x170, which are now the wrong sizes.

What you can do is to create and override folder, create and crop your new portraits, name them the corrrect name (e.g. ImoenM), and drop them in the override folder. That's what I've read, anyway; I haven't tried it myself.

I have successfully changed my charname's portrait with the in-game "appearance - custom" buttons.

I agree that could work for my character or if I wanted to change the default image for an npc. My problem is that because the PC was using his portrait, he is using a different portrait which doesn't really suit him.... :(
