Inconsistancies with terrain in AR2400 (Peldvale)

In area AR2400 (Peldvale) there are some inconsistencies regards to where you can walk/terrain. If I'm remembering correctly, the area was like this in vanilla BG. This issue is still present in BGEE.

Area's in blue, you cannot walk

The area in red, you can walk

When you look at the texture of the areas you can and cannot walk, they appear to be the same. Also the area in red is obviously an elevated cliff, when you look at the map as a whole.

What I'm asking is to make the zone consistent.

    @Avenger_teambg

    The terrain issue I pointed out here is in BGEE.

    Yeah, i suspected this, apparently you can walk across search squares marked as 'light obstacle'.
    This could be the solution for the various reports of walking across mountains and rocks (gnoll fortress, mulahey's cave).
    This area is a good test case, you just confused me with the nice water.

    Well, the area is actually marked as sand. It was like that in bg1 as well.

    Speaking of which, why does water not appear in the map view in BG:EE? Is it going to be fixed?

    I have not read in the patch notes that this was fixed, but on version 2012 it has been fixed.

    *edit* Filestamp is 12/14/12, so it was the 2011 patch. Was the "Area light maps"?
