Area Map / Right-clicking on a Marker Previously Deleted

(Current behavior)
Occasionally, deleting a marker and then attempting to right-click over the area and place another marker will result in the same description/color of the previous marker for the pop-up. Selecting "Done" will result in no marker appearing. Selecting "Delete" will not delete the hidden marker. The same issue will occur when trying to place a marker in the same spot.

(Expected behavior)
All deleted markers lose all traces (icon AND data).

Note: It should also be noted, as I cannot seem to locate the thread any longer, that while editing markers there's a chance that when selecting "Done" it will result in a new marker appearing adjacent to the previous marker.

    Is this a repost of some kind? It's been almost five months. Why has this not been addressed? The one thing holding me back from going through everything in BG:EE is the fact that the map markers are completely screwed. You try to add one and it disappears, or you try to delete a marker and it stays there, or a duplicate marker will appear.

    Seriously...an easy fix. It needs to be addressed. If possible, allow me access to the source code so I can make the alterations myself.

    I rely on them, more or less, to have 100% completion. I need to get everything...it's my way. The fact that they can actually disappear when you leave an area, and upon returning to that same area you find the marker is no longer present, is unacceptable.
