hmm wierd issue

So I have a wierd question for you guys. What level where you at level 2 when you were assualting the kobold stronghold with the evil mage looking to kill some witch? Cause I am still at level 1! It says I have killed 50% of the monsters and gained over 3000k of experience from kills but my character hasn't leveled.. He is currently at 1578 out of 2000 and it seems like it is taking a lot longer to level than it did back in the day.

So anyone who can shed some light on this would be greatley appreciated.
