Can you dismiss Kivan and regroup with him later?

Have they "fixed" the fact that if you removed Kivan from your party in Vanilla EE he would not rejoin?

Because while he is my favorite ranged NPC, I'm going to need to remove him for a bit to do stuff with the new NPCs eventually, and unfortunatly Minsc and Dyhanaer are a matching pair, getting rid of my healer would be suicidal and Imoen needs xp so I can dual class her.

I really don't want to lose him permanantly.

    Yes you can, I did it to save Dynahaer, then I kicked her out and I took Kivan back :)

    Woot! It may have its problems but I'm loving EE...

    Now all I have to do is figure out exactly what spells are in the game to twink out my mages and I', all set.. till my next question!
