Well I appreciate the support team is doing the best they can but the emails I've had so far off them haven't resolved my problem yet, so I'd like to ask if anyone knows what I can do about this problem.
Basically, when I start the game, I receive the following error message "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\culture.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error.""
when I close that message, I get another window, saying "Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition Launcher has stopped working", with the following problem details:
"Description:
Stopped working
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name:
CLR20r3
Problem Signature 01:
bgee.exe
Problem Signature 02:
0.2.4.0
Problem Signature 03:
50b08f15
Problem Signature 04:
PresentationCore
Problem Signature 05:
3.0.0.0
Problem Signature 06:
48fef619
Problem Signature 07:
4e2b
Problem Signature 08:
6
Problem Signature 09:
System.IO.FileFormatException
OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033"
I'll level with you, the first message makes me think it's some sort of problem with the .NET framework but that's something I cannot begin to understand. (i.e. I don't really even understand what the .NET framework does.)
Any help would be great! I'm running 32bit Vista.
Cheers
