Just had one of my funniest fights ever (spoilers)

Yesterday there was a "I lobe Neera thread" and while I agreed with most of the points made there, I was not in love with Neera myself yet. Now, however, I am getting there.
I was at the Firewine Bridge had met Carsa and was just beginning the fight with Khark. That guy is surpisingly powerful and brings up a lot of protections. Not having breach or anythign I just wanted to hit him with whateever I could so I used Neera's Wilg Mage spell (is that Nahals reckless dweomer?) to fire a flame arrow at him... instead Neera gated in a Nabassu! Just a short time before I selecetd the spells Vicky was to memorize and decided that protection from evil was useless in BG1
. Well... I don't know if it was the Nabassu or Khark, but Minsc got paralysed and killed with 2 hits from the Nabassu. Then the Nabassu killed Dorn. So... I took the rest of my party (Monk (me), Neera, Imoen and Vicky) and started running around in circles. The Nabassu followed and Khark took care of him. The Nabassau gone I started attacing Khark again... which ended in him killing my whole party. Seriously powerful Ogre Mage for BG1. Let's see what happens when i try to take him on again.

Khark is indeed powerful for BG1, this is even more surprising that the battle is out in the open and he is alone. I once remember I had my party of 6 decimated, 5 dead 2 of which permanently, and I had to run away from the map with my main PC and abandon all the equipment right there... what a humiliation that was.
