mages in armour with arcane magic

i've searched the old mods for anything which allows mages to wear armour and still be able to cast spells. there is indeed a mod for it.

however this also comes with an increased risk of spell failure. does anybody know of a mod which allows for this without the increased spell failure?

if you are dual/multi classing the best is elven armors, the bad think off that mod is it gives spell failure to shields , something you dont have without it
