(Possible Spoiler) Centeol's Charm-Dialog Changed to Reflect Proper Irenicus Spelling?

I'm not to the Cloakwood yet - just curious. Has anyone charmed Centeol in BG:EE and if so, is her dialogue changed so that it spells Jon Irenicus's name correctly?

It is still Jon Icarus or whatever. In the journal, its Jon Irenicus though.

I am cursssed. The archmage, Jon Icarus, cursed me for indignities done to him and his wife by me. I loved Jon, but now I hate him, as I hate you and everything. Spiderssss... kill them all.

I can tell you of my curse, for that is all I remember anymore. I used to be beautiful and powerful. An exotic sorceress, with many powers at my command and suitors at my door. But I only had eyes for one man, Jon Icarus. He was a great and powerful wizard, the only man worthy of my affections, or so I thought. Though I lusted for Jon, he cared little for me, for he had another to whom he was married, lady Tanova. So I plotted and schemed, and finally came up with a plan to rid the world of Tanova. When the deed was done and Tanova lay dead, I was exultant, but not for long. Jon went mad with fury, and using his powerful magics, divined the identity of his wife's murderer. He arrived at my tower, and I allowed him entry, desirous to finally consummate our love. Jon disabled me with his spells, then he cursed me to this body and set spiders to feed me and keep me alive. So you see, if you were my friend, you would kill me.

    Journal entry: Centeol's Sad Story
When we charmed the huge bloated creature that called herself Centeol, we were told an interesting story. It seems she was cursed to her current shape by a powerful mage named Jon Irenicus. Hah! Only a fool would run afoul of a mage like that.

@Jalily - Would this be something you guys would want to fix, in terms of the Charmed creature's dialogue? (Icarus vs Irenicus) seems to appear twice in total. You guys may already be aware.

This has been brought up before, I believe, and they decided to stick with Icarus to be true to the original.

From what I remember, Icarus was intended to be Irenicus' name when they were still working on BG1. However, they later decided that Irenicus followed the story of Icarus just a little too closely and so decided to change the name in BG2.

@Foerthan - Interesting. Makes me wonder why it would be spelled one way in the dialogue and another in the journal entry they added in for BG:EE. A bit confusing for players who don't know that background.

@HaHaCharade - Yeah, if it's one way in the journal now and another in her dialogue, that should probably be looked at. Might want to make a posting in the bug forums?

Anyways, here was what @Aosaw had to say about it in the other thread:
    Aosaw said:

A lot of mods changed the text to Irenicus, because that was who she was actually referring to. Icarus was supposedly going to be the name of the villain in BG2, but it was decided that naming a guy who failed to become a god "Icarus" was just a bit too on-the-nose.

We debated changing it for BG:EE, but decided that we liked the easter egg reference. :)

What makes you think there aren't two Jons in the wide world?

I always thought it was likely that she could have known him by a pseudonym. Which just makes it all the funnier/more tragic that she lusts after him and doesn't even know his Real Name.

It should be Irenicus; Dave said the old name is a continuity error and not a purposeful mislead. I've updated the strings.

    Makes sense, thanks!
