How to stop Edwin from leaving (minor spoilers)

I recruited Minsc as soon as I got to Nashkel and proceeded to rescue Dynaheir from the Gnoll Stronghold. After that I booted both of them out of the party and got Edwin instead.

Unfortunately Edwin's quest to find and kill Dynaheir is still active. I've tried recruiting her again with Edwin in the party but it doesn't seem to do anything. Now Edwin left my party since I took too long to finish his quest. Is there any way to fix this so that Edwin doesn't leave?

    Just kill Dynaheir?

    You have to have him in your party when you rescue Dynaheir afaik for his quest to complete.

    Try to recruit him with her in the party , i think he say somenthing about keep a eye on her or somenthing like that instead of kill ... I think .

    Just chunked Dynaheir while he was in my party. Worked like a charm! Thanks!

    There are very few problems chunking can't solve...

    Bem809, where did you find Dynaheir after rescuing her?

    I have the exact same problem, thou I cant find Dynaheir at all anymore.

    To stop Edwin from leaving, type this into the console:

    CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("FindDynaheir","GLOBAL",2)

    This - if you recruit him while Dyna is in the party that completes his quest right there - you can then drop Dyna immediately if you wish
