Movie Scenes not finishing

Up until now, every movie scene in BG:EE(as well as BGII:SoA and ToB) have ended prematurely, because the speed of the text was faster than the speed of the spoken word, and the movie sequence ended as soon as there was no more text visible. I am not sure if this is an actual bug or just a problem in my settings (since it happened in BGII as well), but if this is happening to other players as well, possible fixes would be to slow down the speed the text is scrolling up, or playing the movie sequence to an end, even though the text is no longer visible. Also, the replay button doesn't work/is greyed out.
