How to enter in the Cloud Peaks?

in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
I have tried to get there by the 2 areas south of Durlag's tower but I cant. Actually the Cloud Peaks don't appear in blue color, but in this light brown color of the maps. Same happens with Ulgoth's beard. I have done the rest of the quest and the monk is insisting to go there!

    Not sure if I missed this in the quest text, but I had a bit of trouble finding this as well. I don't know how to add *spoiler* text, so I'll hint at it instead. It's a bit west of where you would think it would be.
