How do I update/get fixes?

Sorry if it's an obvious question, but I've seen it asked on a few other threads, and no definitive answers were given.

So, basically - where can I download updates/fixes/patches?

    Open your launcher/Beamdog client and it should detect the update.

    Yes, I should have been more precise. What if I don't use the launcher?

    Than read the forum to see what updates come.

    Or you ask the guy who gave you the game files in the first place if he could also send you the updated ones :-P
    Seriously: Why should one not use the launcher? :-D

    They would still need the Launcher to apply the update (if I'm not mistaken).
