Diplay problem - NVIDIA GTX690 with Driver 310.70 - Solved (disable EVGA Precision)

Starting the game results in top half of the screen being white und bottom half showing the menu screen flickering. Sound is playing. Monitor resolution is 2560x1440. Alt-Enter leads to showing window with top half being white and bottom half being black. Hitting Alt-Enter again shows top half being white and bottom half being black.
Changing settings for baldur.exe in NVIDIA Control (like using only on GPU) shows no improvement.
Seems that driver 310.70 (needed for FarCry 3) and GTX690 are not compatible with BGEE.

Your video card isn't powerful enough to run this game. It needs at least a 3dfx Voodoo Graphics with 2mb memory.

All jokes aside, might wanna try having the launcher repair install first.
I'm using a 660 ti with same drivers, not getting an issue, maybe the game is not compatible with higher resolutions than 1920x1080. Chances are you may have tried these but its the only thing I can think of.

Another thing, have you installed your drivers by clicking custom and clean install?

[Edit] Sorry, didn't read careful enough in the first place. Were you able to play the game with an older driver?
Other than that you really have to go for a 3dfx Highend Graphic Solution. ;)

I had a similar issue, top half of screen was white, bottom half was visible, could hear music, but i discovered it was because i had MSI afterburner running, specifically the OSD was set to show FPS, GPU temp in games. I added an entry to turn off the OSD detection and display in OSD for MSI Afterburner for BGEE.exe and Baldur.exe and it fixed the issue. I have a GTX670 with latest drivers.

I am using EVGA Precision. When I am back home at the weekend I will try to deactivate it.

I also always had troubke using Asus Onscreen OSD. Better to leave those toytools out.

Deactivating the EVGA Precision Tool solved the display problem.
