No ending? *spoilers*

I just killed Saverok and I just got a text saying something like "victory! Saverok is dead, a final save file has been made" Then I'm back to the Main meny.

What's weird is you can load that Final Save and return to the game. Pick up loot from Tazok & company, and go back to Baldur's Gate. I don't remember if this was possible in vanilla, but I like it. Gives some breathing room after the final fight. I sent my party to an inn and rested them in a royal room. They deserved it.

I did get the final game cinematic, but it's *very easy* to skip by accident. One click of the mouse skips to the credits (which didn't work for me, the area where credits should be was blank, and replay didn't do anything).

When I load up the final save I get to se my party for 30 sec then I'm back at the main menu. Tried to not even move the mouse but it doesn't matter

On another note i just finished the game tonight and i thought the end vid sequence with the statue falling apart looked a bit lame

I think you can find it in your installation folder in a folder called movies. You probably won't be able to play it unless you have something like VLC media player or some kind of codec pack though.

So wait after you kill Sarevok there is nothing to do? I thought you could go to the tales of the sword coast parts? or at least go back to town to finish anything you missed out...
Any time I load my final save, or the save I done after he died the game just takes me back to the main menu after 5-10 seconds

Nope, the game's done after you kill Sarevok. But what you can do is just load your last save before fighting him and then go do TOSC or whatever, and then come back and kill him once you've finished everything else.

Don't you have an autosave from when you entered the level? If so, you could use that to continue the game.

If not, you could export your character and start a new game, then use Shadowkeeper and the CLUA console to recreate the rest of your party to how they were and then use the MoveToArea cheat to send them directly to the Tales of the Sword Coast content.
