BG won't download from the App store.

Hi All,
My problem is the game simply won't download, i've tried downloading it on my PC through itunes, and directly to my IPad.
On the PC i constantly get an Error 50 message (that i do not get and have never got on any of the other 100's of Apps i have downloaded) - (I have no virus programs or firewalls running). I have tried it about 40 times the best i have made it is half way before it makes me start again.
On the iPad, i simply get a message can not download and makes me press 'done' or 'retry' either way i have to start from the begining of the download again.

I have tried signing in and out.
I have tried restarting iPad/computer/modem etc.
I have tried deleting past download cache and restarting the download
I have tried deleting iPad dowload (using the littl - button) and that has not worked either.

I will have downloaded about 15 gig in attempting to get this 1.7 gig App. Can anyone help me? is anyone else having this problem?
