Advanced Option: Slider Bar for Resting Areas

This would look like (from left to right):
1- Rest anywhere except city streets.
2- Rest in any internal area as well as default designated rest areas.
3- Rest in designated rest areas only. (DEFAULT)
4- Rest only at inns.

This just addresses a realism issue whereby you can camp out and sleep on the doorstep of the cabin at the High Hedge or first Cloakwood area, but can't seem to get any sleep inside the cabins where you could bolt the door and there's a bed, no rain, maybe a fireplace to cook food, etc...

This is one in a series of game features I'd like added in a separate settings section called Advanced Options that would be available in a new "Advanced Options" Tab on the regular Settings Screen. It would be entirely optional to even peruse it, clearly designated as "Advanced" (even throwing in "Intended for more experienced players only" if that's deemed necessary). It would mean an in-game tweaking mechanism that would no longer require a mod.

I posted an advaned difficulty options thread, including this point, which in hindsight I realise was stupid. I should have posted the different points seperately like you are doing.

On the point in question, I agree.

Yes, I saw that thread, and there was so much packed into it that I had trouble responding decisively. Plus I figure it's easier for the devs to read more specific requests... which I've not managed to put enough technical detail into since I lack that info. But I'm not done going through all of ones I'm after yet either. >:-)

@Bhryaen I might delete that post later and repost it in its constituent parts.

So a Rest Area difficulty slider bar?

@HeroicSpur We don't have a delete function yet... though I've requested it. hehe Someone opposed it- forgot to respond to them... But most of what I've been posting is the same as what you covered, just as "Advanced Options." I'm thinking that might not work on everything I've been designating it for, however, so... may be revising in the future...
