Outcome of the Feature Requests

Well, frist of all greetings to everyone.
I'm making this post out of curiosity, as a lot of features where already requested, so i want to know somethings from the BGEE Team:
The features requested/suggested here have any chance of being implemented? Which discretion is being used to evaluate this? In which point are the opinions of the forum members more valuable and in which point there's no sense in ask for changes? (NPCs, monsters, romances, races, classes, banters, modification of scripts functions, content from other D&D related games as PS:T, IWD, NWN and even DA:O...etc...etc...etc...)
I ask this cos i see a ton of requests, and i heard that is a strict assignment of rights copyright contract.
Will in a time someone from the equip come and evaluate, even pointing what they found to be good in the requests, or only ingame we will know which features requests where approved (if they will even be taken on account).

I would like to know too tbh.
Certain big requests as well could use some answering, even if it's just "we'll try". I understand the difficulties and the schedule, but you cannot imagine how bad some of us are waiting for this game to come out improved and play it. Some requests might be far fetched but there are certain others that are common and expected tbh.
For instance i would like to know officially what exactly can they do with the character models. Can we update them? Update the armor on them? Use even the BG1 ones as the base or what can we do anyway? There are many other big subjects as well that could use some light, especially the things that Trent admitted they wanted to implement in the first place ( f.e. the graphics).
The fact that we don't see answers lately could mean both good and bad. Good since they might come up with something and are working on it, but can't release details yet, or bad, since they can't do it but don't want to say anything further to disappoint.
Conclusion : Although i'm hyped about this game, i'm gonna restrain myself as much as possible and not expect anything. Some things we took for granted might not be in the game and it is beyond our power to do anything, other than say we don't like the result. Some people say Overhaul is a small company and can't do even basic stuff like animating models etc, so don't get your hopes up, but i'm gonna say this:
Blizzard is a huge company and everyone got hyped about Diablo 3.
We all saw how that ended
So good luck folks and if you find the time we would be delighted if you addressed or implemented some major and obvious requests.
Cheers
@DanBoulos posted a small FAQ couple of weeks ago, which never got updated since than , he also not much active ( last time seen at 22th june... ) .
oh well...
If they adress every issue, they're going to have to reply with "No" on about 80% of the threads. This will breed ill will towards the developers from people who don't understand why it's a no (and I'm sure we both know that some people won't take any explanation as a valid one). This also kills the motivation of people who might post their idea.
10% of the ideas will get a "maybe" reply. If time and money allows, if it fits, if they find a way to do it right, etc. These people (and the people who approve of the idea) will get offended when the maybe isn't a yes in the end (if you've followed forums for any kind of games, you will see that a 'maybe' is often interpreted as 'yes')
10% will then get a "Yes, good idea!" reply, prompting PM's from all the other people asking the dev's to also read their thread or post, and maybe rethink the no they said earlier.
I have to note, this is one of the more civilised, respectful and occasionally even intelligent forums I've been on, so maybe I'm just being pessimistic. I've got a fair number of years in Customer Service and Professional Social Media work though and that's taught me that dealing with the masses requires a very careful approach. The negatives stand out way more than the positives.
There are lots of requests yes, and maybe to follow all them could be a littie troubling, but the problem is that NO TOPIC of feature implement get a position or even maybe an agree from the BG:EE team. So, why this directory was created?
I don't even know if what i say can be done or not.
They don't need to comment on all topics, neither say that will use or not an implement, but i can't help but feel a hollow on the forum, as if we're just making arguments about what would be good or not to BG:EE with no future repercussion.
Some threads/posts from time to time, some evaluations of the contend here, some participation at least, that's all i ask.
A topic from someone of the team listing the features they liked (be them implemented or not) would be nice. I don't think ppl will get upsed if their ideas were not on the list, that would be too childish.
As for which features will be implemented, that's anyone's guess. Though its very possible that they're still in the process of seeing which requests are feasible to implement in a timely manner and that will also bring some added value to BG.
Then there's also the whole approval process that also delays the release of news. I actually think that @PhillipDaigle has mentioned somewhere that they have a lot of stuff that they want to show us but can't yet.
It sucks, but the only thing we all can do it wait. /shrug
If from time to time, they make a list of the viable implements, a thread listing the themes of viable implements can allow a clean on the forum errasing other threads and making easy to navigate here.
I doubt we're gonna see a lot of requests being implemented.
I'm just waiting to see what exactly is happening in the game as far as requests are concerned, we will probably have an exact list of what the enhanced edition consists of soon. I think it needs approval as well.
Questions answered on game-play is fine, but not in game content.
