Can't complete the quest with Kaishan Gan *possible spoilers*

Hi, I'm on the Werewolf Island and have killed every monster on the northern part of the Island, but I can't complete the quests. The only option in the conversation with Kaishan Gan is "I have not killed them all yet." I have killed everything on the wreck. I have double-checked the Island thrice, and some enemies keep to respawn, large groups of Wolfweres and Dreadwolfs. I have all the quest items, Baldurans logs and his sword, the dagger, etc, EXCEPT the corpse of the little boy. The dead should be on the dead body of Karoug, but the only loot I could find on the ground was a the Robe of the Neutral Archmagi. Could Karoug have been disappeared? I can't remember exactly the fight with the leaders of the group, but it went really fast ...

Is there any possibility to complete the quest or do I have to reload from before the Island?

    I was desperate, I casted fireball and detect invisible on every level of the wreck, still nothing. I read about Karoug and saw he has 600 HP ?! I don't think that I could defeat him that fast, so I think he really disappeared. Is there a way (even with the console; is there a console?) to make him reappear?
