What Next? OpenGL and Intel Problems.

I'm experiencing slow game play as result from the OpenGL problems associated with Intel Processors.
Thus far I have done the following recommended solutions I have found on the forum.
I'm up against a wall on what to try next to solve the problem.

Change BGEE to run with compatibility Win 95
Change the Baldur.ini file to read
INSERT INTO options ROWS (
'Graphics', 'OpenGL VERSION', '1',
'Window', 'Full Screen', '0',
Attempted to update the OpenGL (Not sure if it did anything though..)
Changed my battery settings to 'High Performance'.
Checked to see if all my drivers are up to date; which they were.

I'm going to be uninstalling and try re-installing using the Beamdog Client.

Any advise would be very much appreciated.
Thank you, and good luck to anyone else with similar difficulties.

With regards to compatibility mode options, make sure that you are applying them to Baldur.exe, not BGEE.exe (although I don't think applying them to BGEE.exe actually hurts). Baldur.exe is located in [Installation Directory]\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\Data\00766\

Also you can try checking off "Disable visual themes", "Disable desktop composition", and "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" under compatibility options. Running as an administrator usually doesn't hurt either.

Edit: you can also check this page: http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/8523/intel-chipsetperformance-error-a-complete-collection-of-work-arounds/p1
for any other tips that you haven't tried yet.

Yes! It really made a difference by changing the compatibility to the correct program. It sped up, however i'm still experiencing lag...(not nearly as bad.) I'll be looking into that link you provided.
    Thank you.

I'm glad I could help. Yeah I'm actually in the same boat as you; I have an Intel chipset and while I've managed to get rid of the worst of the slowness, I still get slowdowns from time to time. Usually they only last for a little while, and sometimes they go away by simply saving, exiting to the main menu, and then reloading.
