A class question

in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
Hi, I am now starting another walkthrough in BG:EE, and I want to play a half-elf mage/cleric. The question is: will I be able to obtain the wizard "home" in BG2 ? You know, the big round one (writing this way to avoid a spoiler).

    You can if you do that quest before the cleric stronghold one. But then you won't be able to do the latter unless you mod your game.

    Basically, multiclasses can get the stronghold for any one of their classes, but only one.

    Thank you very much :D i needed that info to start a sensible playthrough. i want to write a review for my blog, and i don't want it to be a pain ;)

    In vanilla BG2 there exist quite some bugs concerning stronghold, namely: Fighter & Mage.
    Nalia doesn't always check if a dual/multi-class fighter (confirmed^^ got thief & fighter) already has a stronghold nor does Lavok. Ranger/Cleric is also kinda bugged.
    I'd suggest to install at least the BG2-fixpack, all stronghold related bugs are gone.

    Though if you want to play vanilla without mods, then do the planar sphere first. THat should work....
