Uninstall and Reinstal

Is there a way to uinstall and reinstall without having to download the whole thing again!!!? I've uninstalled as I think a mod was messing something up only to find out I have the download it all over again!? Why am I doing that? If I've already downloaded it once, I should be able to just reinstall it? My internet here is so chronicly slow that it'll take hours!

    if you have the launcher, click on the icon in the bottom right corner, and select "repair install" from the drop down list

    Ah I missed that, I didn't see that before. Well its already started its downloaded but good to know for next time.
