Golden pantaloons

I was foolish enough to return the pantaloons to the nobleman long before I discovered they had a use. Is there anything I can do to get them back?

Ah, killing worked. Didn't know it would since it said he had no items on him.

You don't need them. Unless you're an obsessive fan, planning on meta-gaming the entire series. Like the rest of us.

If you collect a couple more pairs of pants on the way, that is.

You have to be a bit of a bastard to get the ones in BGII.

You have to be a bastard to get the first pair to be fair. Not returning a guy's laundry is just plain rude, and killing him is awful!

That said, this noble will NOT be getting back his pantaloons when he asks ME to wash them...

Perhaps you could create the golden pantaloons in your inventory with shadowkeeper, and save yourself the reputation points?

anyone else feel that noble is a bit slow in the head ? i mean think about it.

    1. he gives precious golden pantaloons to bunch of ppl wich has metal / studded leathers and weapons drawn, probably even evil grin on their face ( atleast on my party ) thinking it's hotel's laundry service ppl without even questioning ?

    2. even if you "do the quest", you can immidietly return pants to him and say they're washed even though they're not and he'll belive you, even though he can clearly see you haven't left even the room.

Hm, doesn't he complain about the shoddy work? Anyway, that interaction requires a little suspension of disbelief, yes.

I just see him as a very aloof noble and that my party isn't fully armed and armored while hanging at the inn.

You know I thought I had did everything there was to do in this game (i refused to hit the library to look it up on the internet), and all these years later I get these things and I look em up just for the heck of it..can that Big Metal Unit be used by a Sorcerer? I can't imagine it would be but just curious. I never got this thing, ever.

If I remember, anyone can use it. It's really just fun to get once, to check it out. As I recall, it's sort of a boring and too powerful thing.

    That's hilarious!

It doesn't allow you to pass through small doors, though.
