Neera's Quest response (spoilers)

So after I defeated the red wizard, Neera says something like "I can't believe I did it all on my own!" All the dialogue options were something to do with reminding her that I helped. I picked the one I thought was most harmless ("Ahem...") and she still got angry at me (said something like "Oh of course I forgot it's all about you!")

Is there a way for her to not get angry? The other options didn't seem any better.

Did I just ruin my attempted romance with her?
