Wrong Experience for a Werewolf?

On the side quest that has the Werewolves, their counterparts are around 1400xp for a Wolfwere. However the Werewolves are only 420xp and just as deadly. Maybe they should be 1420xp? Their THACO is ridiculous for a 420xp creature, hit my -5 AC dude with a ~18 so it must be around 12 or less, and the kind of damage they do in one hit, almost 20 damage. Dread wolves or some special wolf are ~450-650xp or even Vampiric Wolves, 2000xp I think, and I go through them like they aint even there. The Werewolves xp is definitely not reflecting what it should be.

    These were that much in bg1 as well. With the magic weapon fix, they will be significantly nerfed anyway.
