Neera romance seems to have frozen?

So I had the first dialogue, picked all the nice options which seemed to be appropriate, she says "come, lets continue our journey"

Now, I've played two sessions of multiple hours, just doing sidequests etc, I've cleared out the mines (which is still as an active quest??) and rescued Dynaheir (Also still an active quest???) And Neera hasn't talked to me again.

Im only on chapter three though.

So is it time to break out debug mode and fiddle about, or is it meant to take a while for dialogue 2?

Its meant to last a ways over the game, not happen instantly in an um...wild surge. *cough*

Dunno. I said something and she said 'everything is about YOU' and I think that was the crash and burn.

Hmm both the 1st 2 options gave me the same answer 'everything..blabla' haven't tried the 3rd option. But am stuck as well...but honestly I don't mind anymore.

Its not. I went out of my way to take those types of answers because I wasn't interested in romancing her and she still kept moving the romance further. But it didn't pick up for me until after I followed up on a quest lead she gave me.

Which quest furthered her romance? The only interaction I've had with her after getting her the magic belt is when a halfling demanded she repay a debt to him.

@guston the magic belt one. I don't know that it directly furthered the romance, but it was after that quest and being in chapter 4 that she started giving me lots of 'Neera seems annoyed with me but I suspect she might be interested' type journal entries.

I've had the same problem. Neera's romance dialogue hasn't progressed, even though I'm currently in Chapter 7.

@CutlassJack - This was during her quest. Unless there are more of them. It's fine; my archer loves his bow more than miss 'one-shot-dead' mage. I think I broke the 'romance', but maybe she's just fickle and slow to move on things.

Perhaps her romance is in bgee is designed to just set it up for bg2ee and is meant to end abruptly?
