Question About sales and BG3

This is a question to overhaul. Were the sales what you guys (or gals) expected them to be? I know you still have 2 more platforms to release, but I was just wondering if you guys hit your expected marks on release day.

The reason I am asking is because I know this will more than likely determine whether or not the other Baldur's Gates game will be re-released. And I have read that Beamdog was interested in making Baldur's Gate: 3 if sales were good enough from BG1:EE & BG2:EE (and possibly IWD:EE).
