Hey guys. I was in the middle of doing Dorn's quest when suddenly, somewhere on the map, Rick and Shane died.

As a fan of the Walking Dead tv-series, I thought that was pretty funny. But who were they, and why did they die randomly during a gibberling fight? After investigating a bit, it turned out that Dorn's enemy, Kryll the necromancer, had almost the whole cast raised as skeletons for her fight! Pretty cool easter egg.

    Wow, I did not recruit Dorn (eeevil guy!) but this indeed looks like a Walking Dead reference. Wish they were animated as zombies, though.

    I've already reported this twice. There's also a Breaking Bad easter egg with Dorn.

    I think it is wonderful that the BG:EE designers captured the goofy 'popular references under the hood' style of the original BG. Like Marl saying 'are you talking to me? are you talking to me?' or that Daryl and Larryl guys and all..

    There is a Princess Bride reference in The Black Pits as well, though it's quite subtle.
