Fixing the Defensive Spin bug manually

Currently, at level 10, Blade gets a bonus of 31244 AC (!!!) with his Defensive Spin (due to engine limitations, it is depicted as 'only' -30 in-game). While this neat little bonus is surely a powergamer's wet dream, some of us prefer Defensive Spin a bit more balanced.

That's how to fix it manually: (a) download the latest version of Near Infinity; (b) open BG:EE (there is a sticky thread about how to make NI work with BG:EE); (c) go to SPC5L22.SPL in the SPL directory; (d) export the file into your override folder; (e) open the SPC5L22.SPL that you exported into the override folder; (f) edit the fifth Melee (1) ability->Bonus to AC->change AC Value from 31244 to 10. Close and save.

Now your Blade's Defensive Spin should work fine, if you don't count the fact the AC bonus progresses in very weird increments (i. e., 1, 1, 1, 4, 4, 6, 6, 8, 8, 10, not 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, as might be understood from kit description).
