Sections of the Screen go Black (iPad)

Has anyone else had trouble with this? Upon entering an area, a large portion of the map (trees, roads, grass, buildings, fences, etc) goes black. Party members are still visible but everything else is gone. The first time this happened I took a screenshot and that cleared it up. The second and third time I had to leave the area and save then close the game (in the system tray) and reload.

    This has happened once for me, the area just out of Candle Keep where Gorion dies.

    Just had this happen as well on iPad. Area south of High Hedge, happening repeatedly. Has this been fixed in one of those patches till not out on iPad?
