Currently, on the iPad, the way to see tool tips on spells and special abilities is a bit convoluted.
You need to open Spells or Special Abilities on the action menu, tap the "Help" button and finally navigate to the right. It will then show the tool tips for the selection of EITHER Spells OR Special Abilities.
IMO, this cumbersome procedure is counterintuitive, especially for people not familiar with the original game.
I can't even find mention of it in the manuals.
I regularly use the TouchArcade.com forums, probably the biggest forum for iOS gamers and a lot of people don't know it exists, making the game unnecessary hard for them to figure out.
I propose a simple "Swipe" gesture on the bottom row of icons produce the same tool tips as wi know on the PC. It should be a simple fix, an elegant one even..
