Order of the Stick portraits

When I posted my Order of the Stick themed Black Pits team, on another thread, it was widely appreciated.
So I thought I shared the portraits.
Turn the large files into 169x266 and change the L at the end of the file into an M, to make your medium portraits.
Don't forget to convert all portraits (large, medium and small) to 24-bit .BMP files.
If you want to reproduce the original characters and need more details on the characters' stats, you might want to check this thread from the Giant in the Playground forums:

I do not own these characters.
Order of the Stick is a wonderful stick figures webcomic series, and it belongs to Rich Burlew.
You should all go read it right now.

The medium and large portraits are taken from this beautiful piece by Tensen01 I found on DeviantArt:

Redcloak?
Thog?
...Mr Scruffy?
Please tell me we're not gonna derail yet another thread to talk about Tarquin...
But then again, this is the heroes party.
PS: hmmm... maybe we can form a Team Evil line-up...
Ok, ok. When I have time, I'll whip up the other notable OotS characters.
For the Large and Medium portraits I'll have to resort to different fan art, though.
It started out as a little more than an excuse to make D&D-related jokes (just open page 1, in the link I provided, and you'll see), and slowly evolved into one of the most EPIC fantasy stories ever written.
Characters talk about how they have low Spot and Listen checks, or having Hit Points, or failing saving throws all the time, in-universe.
But that doesn't stop the plot from being absolutely marvelous. And the characters... you're gonna love the characters (those little guys above).
It makes you laugh (oh boy!), it even makes you cry (absurd as it sounds, there is one single page full of stick figures that makes me break into tears every single time I read it), it makes you anxious and it makes you rejoice.
What I found most amazing, by attending the website's forums, is that it's equally liked by hardcore D&D gamers, by casual players... and by people who "just saw Lord of the Rings once".
Most of us went there to snicker at character-stats and dice throws nerdy jokes, and stayed for the BEAUTIFUL story.
So far, it has reached over 860 pages (not even counting the bonus strips or the double strips).
4 main story books, 2 prequel books and 1 "spin-off / short stories collection" book have been published.
If you want to start reading it, this is a good moment, since unfortunately the author had a relatively minor accident and his thumb is unusable for the time being. You have time to catch up.
"I'm a sexy, shoeless, god of war."
PS: bonus points to you if you find the Baldur's Gate reference in the first 10 pages.
BWAHAHA yes I got the Baldur's Gate reference: not so subtle, though very funny.
It seems like something I would enjoy, though IDK about making an actual Baldur's Gate party centered around it...
If Neverwinter Nights 2 allowed 6 characters, I would consider it there since it is 3.5 edition. Alas, only 4 player-made characters...
But then I found out that the Black Pits stand-alone expansion makes you create/import 6 of your characters...
If only Halflings could be Rangers...but i suppose that's what mods are for eh?
So I made V a man, which is flat-chested, wide-robed and beardless (being an elf).
I tried to compensate by giving him/her a female voice, although the most ambiguous one I could find.
Had to be done
(Post-manuals)
And yes, the BG joke is hilarious.
The author said so.
Even though it was originally meant to be one or the other (and we can just guess which one), after a few strips, noticing that people were confused about it, Rich Burlew decided to leave it up in the air on purpose, to provide comic relief.
By now, there's so many fans thinking of him/her as male or female, that going for one would just disappoint half the fanbase.
It's better to leave it a mystery.
Same for Inkyrius.
