Kensai-Kensai/Mage Alignment Question

Why can't a kensai be of the chaotic alignment? I intend to dual over to mage, which can be chaotic. None of the other alignments fit my character.

Is there a console cheat or something that I can use to fix this once I've started playing?

    Because Kensai require dedication and control, something chaotic doesn't have. Play a berserker if you want chaotic...they're better F/M then Kensai anyway.
