Missing UI Element: Money Not Shown on Main Gamescreen While Looting

OBSERVED: Missing UI element showing party's current gold balance on the main game screen while looting containers and ground items

EXPECTED: Element should be there as per BG/BGII UI.

I don't have an install of vanilla BG1 handy to check if this UI element was there in the first game, but I seem to remember it being so. If anyone could confirm or deny that it was in vanilla that would be awesome.
