Bard's tale on iPad

Hey, just an FYI to the iPad users out there, as of right now, The Bard's Tale game is a free download!
I always wanted to try out this game but never got around to it. It's a direct port of the original plus the 3 ancient Bard Tale games from the 80's included as a bonus. At 1.3 gig download, not quite as big as BGEE ;)

    Bummer, must have only been for 1 day. Better luck next time.

    I'm playing it now, it's a blast, lots of bard humor and insider rpg jokes ;)

    Its half price on Android ATM. Dumb question - I assume can be played without external controllers? The description on Android doesn't exactly make it clear!

    Well, I'm playing on an iPad3 using onscreen controls. Left hand does movement, right has fighting buttons. It's a pretty simple set-up. The fighting is rather easy, however the dialogue and side quests are what make the game stand out.
