It doesn't seem to be working with the Two-Hander, yet the bonus is still listed.

Upd: Doesn't seem to be working with the longsword either.

Weird, it seems to work for me!

It is pretty confusing, for example.

    How is my thac0 13 here? What is that 'to hit -4'? Shouldn't it be 18-2(sword)-4(to hit)-1(elf) = 11?

But if I do it step by step:
    Base thac0 = 18
    -1 for 18 strenght
    -1 for assassin
    -1 for elf
    -2 for the +2 sword

Then it works out that 13 is correct, but in the thac0 box the numbers are completely off.

So the bug here is that 'To Hit' stat that shows incorrect numbers.

@szb: Took me a bit to figure it out, but the box, though confusing in this case, is not actually wrong. Let me explain:

"The Whistling Sword +2" is the name of the weapon. Specifically, the +2 you see at the end of the line is part of the weapon's name, and not part of the THAC0 calculation, though I can see how you are confused.

For the breakdown (what's in the box, but rearranged for clarity):
    Base THAC0: 18
The Whistling Sword +2 To Hit: -4 (takes into account bonuses for STR, assassin class, and +2 weapon bonus)
    Elf: -1 (elf race modifier)
    Final result: 18 -4 -1 = 13

    Hope this helps.

@iKrivetko: In the initial build, the THAC0 box was bugged and didn't show the correct value, but that has since been fixed. It was correct in the character record page and (as far as I know) in-game.

    @Kyzarin
I see, it makes sense now. Thanks!
What I do not understand is why did they combine, strenght, class, and weapon bonuses in to a single 'to hit' stat, but the elf bonus is seperate. Would be much clearer if all bonuses were on completely seperate lines, but they probably did it this way because of limited space.

@Kyzarin I see. What confused me was that when I had a longbow equipped, there was no cumulative bonus, only separate ones. Strangely enough, the dex bonus isn't listed when a longbow is equipped.

Guys, the Elf -1 is incorporated with the "Two Handed Sword To Hit". The data is redundant.

Read my thread here to get a better explanation of what is going on.

Anyways, Elfs should only be getting the -1 to Long sword (and short sword) and bow per their description.
