Do poison effects stack?

I was wondering, so poison effects stack? e.g.

Does an Assassin's or Blackguard's poison weapon ability stack with Dagger of Venom's poison?

Does poison damage stack with itself i.e. if you poison someone twice with the same poison (e.g. just the Assassin's or Blackguard's innate ability), are they poisoned twice or just once and/or does it extend the length of time posioned? Thanks

Poison stacks, the damage starts either ticking really fast or doubling up if it is at the same rate of damage.

Does the poison effect from the Cleric spell "Poison" (lvl.4) also stack if you cast it several times on the same target?

Also, a quirk of the engine caused a creature under the haste effect to take double amount of poison damage, as the game checked the poison 'ticks' twice as fast for the hasted creature for the duration of the poison.

Or, a slowed creature only suffered half the amount. Regeneration worked same way too, being just the reverse of poison effect actually. Poison kills you bit by bit, Regeneration heals you bit by bit. And they are all affected by haste/slow effects. Actually, slowing down some tough enemies that regenerate fast was key to kill them. I wonder if it is changed in BG:EE. Very useful to know before sending in your hasted fighter against a spider or ettercap.
